Paced & Effective Learning
Did you experience anatomy overload in your yoga teacher training and months later forget it all? In the Yoga Anatomy School you will learn a little bit each week and have tools to implement what you learn into your own yoga practice and teaching. You know consistency is key for your yoga practice. It is the same for learning and applying anatomy.
Mentorship
You have opportunities to directly interact with Dr. Trish Corley in live sessions and in the online community forum. You will get questions answered and feedback to empower you to become the confident and effective yoga teacher you are meant to be!
When I did my 200 hour yoga teacher training, I was also a professor of functional anatomy for physical therapist assistants. Though I looked forward to the anatomy component of all my trainings, I was often left disappointed that it was either too complicated, boring, or simply not applicable to actual yoga practice. This inspired me to create the Yoga Anatomy School. Teaching is my passion and bringing my expertise of functional anatomy to yoga teachers was a natural choice. It thrills me to see people have fun learning yoga anatomy and immediately cause tremendous impact on their yoga practice and teaching.
You already know that yoga has the ability to heal. My mission is for yoga teachers to be confident in leading people to a path of health and wellbeing.
I've studied many of the complex text books on functional anatomy and physiology; dissected cadavers; memorized (and taught) all the bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and everything else in the body; and analyzed and influenced the biomechanics of thousands of human beings practicing yoga and living life.
With over twenty years as a physical therapist, I have a mastery of speaking in medical terminology AND translating it to lay terms. I also spent five years as a college professor teaching Functional Anatomy and other courses. I am an expert at teaching AND I love teaching!
Learn with me! You will develop new ways of seeing students’ anatomy and providing instructions that give students access to a more informed and educated yoga practice.
It is time to commit to your students and your career!
